The whitewashed village of Lindos below its clifftop acropolis

Lindos lies about 50 km south of Rhodes Town, a maze of whitewashed houses and cobbled lanes gathered beneath a dramatic clifftop acropolis. It is the island’s most photographed spot, and one of the easiest to enjoy when someone else handles the driving. We organise guided and private excursions to Lindos with comfortable transport from Rhodes, so you simply relax and take in the scenery on the way south.

Highlights

  • Return transport from Rhodes included
  • The ancient Acropolis of Lindos on its cliff
  • Old village, cobbled lanes and captains’ houses
  • Panoramic views over St Paul’s Bay
  • Ideal for families and couples

On arrival you have time to climb — or ride a donkey — up to the Acropolis of Lindos, where ancient temple columns frame sweeping views over the sea. Afterwards, wander the old village and its captains’ houses, visit the church of Panagia, and look down on St Paul’s Bay, the sheltered cove where tradition says the apostle came ashore. Tell us your dates and group size and we will arrange the right departure.
